Carfinity was started, conceptually, in 2017. As it turns out, a day job leaves very little time for side projects, so it remained conceptual – though it turns out, the name inspired a car dealer in London in December 2023…

…so I guess I should do something with this page along the lines of my original intention. I’ve been buying, selling, and fixing cars since 1992.

32 years is a long time to learn a lot about the joy and pain of being a car enthusiast – it’s also a long time to gather a lot of experitse around the total cost of ownership and the relative values of ‘satisfaction and enjoyment’ as well as ‘good value for money as transport. Carfinity’s ethos is built around, enjoying cars, but with an eye to a sustainable future.

The last thing I want to waste is a good idea. So excuse the placeholder site I shoved on when I first registered this branding – something good is coming soon.
